EJP-4 is suitable for all fields of application, ranging from 1344 to 7168 hooks, with speeds upto 700 rpm depending on machine size and undermotion loads for
- Flat Fabrics like upholstery, home furnishings, mattress ticking, bed, table and hotel linen, damasks, silk and lining, neckwear, labels and narrow fabrics
- Plush Fabrics with the attachment of a simple pulley device, formation of the 3 necessary shed positions for weaving Double Plush can be obtained
- Carpets with the individual layout of the shed formation gear combined with a special version of pulley units, permits the production of WIRE LOOM and DOUBLE CARPETS due to solid construction and flexibility of the machine
EJT-4 suitable for Technical Executions like Terry / Pile Fabrics. ranging from 1344 to 7168 hooks, with speeds upto 700 rpm depending on machine size and undermotion loads
EJS-4 suitable for Higher speeds upto 1100 rpm, ranging from 1344 to 7168 hooks on High Speed Rapier, Water-jet and Air-jet Looms or Weaving Machines.
EJX-4 suitable for Extra Hook Capacities starting from 6048 to 24192 hooks, with speeds upto 700 rpm depending on machine size and undermotion loads for flat fabrics like upholstery, home furnishings, mattress ticking, bed, table and hotel linen, damasks, silk and lining, neckwear, labels and narrow fabrics
The CAM DRIVEN Jacquard works on the Double Lift Open Shed Principle. The open shed formation is achieved by pulleys that are readily accessible. V - Shed can be adjusted minutely as per needs.
Hook System
- Zero load on Lifting Knife if the warp is in lower shed, as the Hook in "down position" rests on the machine frame chassis. Leads to minimum mechanical load on loom's Gearbox.
- Lower shed selection reduces mechanical load as compared to Staubli / Bonas
- Hooks are designed to withstand the heavy loads of wider-width weaving with multiple repeats upto 3000 grams.
- The Carbon Fiber Hooks need nil lubrications and have a extremely long life.
- Physical contact between Magnet and Hook is created by the lifting knife leading to minimum energy needs and consequently minimum heat load generation in magnet zone.
Lifting Knives
- The patented lifting knives run in the warp direction unlike Bonas / Staubli.
- Helps create shed opening as per Loom Manufacturer's exact needs with desired Dwell also.
- Hence regardless of the number of hooks in the machine, every lifting knife operates with 64 hooks or 96 hooks (in case of model EJX-4).
- The reading-in of the hooks in Lower Shed position results in less loads on the lower warp ends
Modular Construction
- Each unit consists of a
Hook Module (Mechanical) & a Magnet Module(Electronic).
- Each module contains 32 Hooks on each side.
- Quick Change Technology allows the two modules made of Reinforced Carbon to be easily separated in case on any repairs/maintainance needs.
- Flexible / Versatile Jacquard. One can purchase machine with a larger machine frame size & with lower number of Hooks. Thus the machine can be expanded/reduced later by installing/removing additional hook modules. Hence future changes can be incorporated easily
- Individual parts can be replaced easily like Hook / Magnet / Neckcords/ Pulley and manytime without removing the hookedup harness too. Lower Maintainance cost
Shed Formation

- The shed is formed by 4 Special Profile Cams having a specific throw and Dwell characteristics to suit the specific Shed geometry of each Loom's Size and Model and Speed.
- Minor adjustments in shed opening is possible easily by changing the fulcrum point in the linkages. Also for heavy warp densities, Warp staggerring is possible with minor change in timing of cams. Hence combination and permutations of various Shed Geometry, as per needs can be easily adapted/modified lateron
Harness Guiding
- A Simple & Clearly Structured Harness Path guarantees optimum sliding features with a vibration free arrangement of the pulleys.
- Additionally, the harness neck cords with plastic combinations and plastic snap hooks permit quick and easy mounting and change of harness.
- The Glass Grid ensures a higher life of the harness due to it's spacious structure and very low sliding resistance
